REUNION DESAYUNO DE TRABAJO AMA Y RTVE

On May 26, 2026, a meeting was held between members of A.M.A. and the Director of Film and Fiction at RTVE, Mr. José Pastor. The purpose of the meeting was for A.M.A. members to learn firsthand about RTVE's investment strategies in feature films, documentaries, animation, series, and short films.

Mr. Pastor gave a comprehensive presentation on the characteristics and content of RTVE's various broadcast platforms, such as La 1, La 2, and RTVE Play, as well as the audiovisual and film productions that are compatible with these channels. He emphasized that when investing in film, RTVE considers not only box office success but also the quality and cultural value of the films. RTVE must be an instrument for recovering the market share of Spanish cinema, and they are working towards this goal.

Following the presentation by the Director of Film and Fiction at RTVE, a dialogue session was held, allowing the attending AMA members to ask questions and seek clarification on all the issues and problems raised during the meeting.

Finally, Mr. José Pastor expressed his gratitude for the meeting organized by AMA and took note of all the suggestions made by the members in attendance.
